Intellicheck
Intellicheck's revenue rose 13.3% to $23 million in fiscal 2025. Its operating margin was 4.8%, up from −5.8% a year earlier. Free cash flow was $4 million. The diluted share count rose 4.3%.
Operating margin is operating income as a share of revenue. Free cash flow is cash from operations minus capital spending. Return on equity is net income as a share of shareholders' equity. Market cap is the last closing share price times the latest diluted share count, so it is approximate. P/E is the last close divided by diluted earnings per share over the last four quarters, or the latest fiscal year where the quarters aren't available; there is none when the company made a loss.
Charts show fiscal years, from the 10-K filings.
What Intellicheck does
Intellicheck sells software that checks whether a person's ID is real, to help stop fraud and verify age. Its customers include banks and other financial services firms, fintech companies, buy-now-pay-later providers, online and physical retailers, law enforcement and government agencies, mainly in North America. The software works through a mobile device, a web browser or a retail point-of-sale scanner.
Typical uses are catching fraud when someone opens an account or pays with a fake ID, confirming a credit card applicant at a store kiosk, checking age for alcohol, cannabis, tobacco and gambling sales, and stopping fraudulent retail returns. It has added facial recognition and other biometric checks to some products.
Its products are generally sold as cloud software services. Revenue comes from per-transaction or fixed-price software fees, extended equipment warranties and subscription and support services, sold through its own sales team and through marketing partners. Its software relies on reference data supplied by government agencies. In March 2026 it had 38 full-time employees.
Its biggest risks, as it describes them
- It has a history of operating losses and may not stay profitable, even though it was profitable in 2025.
- Its software relies on reference data from government agencies, which could stop sharing it.
- Disruptions at federal agencies it works with could prevent them from performing functions its business relies on.
- Long sales and implementation cycles for its products.
- The industry for its software is evolving and its growth is uncertain.
